Not everyone is or wants to be an elite athlete yet everyone needs a certain level of fitness in order to continue with their everyday life and to ensure an acceptable quality of life.
This is particularly true as time goes by. As the years pass maintaining fitness can be crucial to continuing independence and the ability to perform day to day tasks.
Obesity, even amongst children is now one the fastest growing health problems, together with all of the implications for health – heart problems, diabetes etc. etc.
The level of fitness needed depends entirely on your aims. Therefore the appropriate exercise along with diet and lifestyle need to be planned and carried out to ensure that you can achieve the desired results.
I am a fully qualified personal trainer, registered with REPS (The Register of Exercise Professionals) , the body which regulates fitness professionals.
I can work with you to develop an exercise and lifestyle program and then monitor progress, amending the program as you move towards your goals.
It is not necessary to join a gym as the program can be designed to be followed at home or some other convenient location. If you do wish to join a gym or are already a member then your program can be designed to incorporate gym sessions.
The initial 30 minute consultation is free. This enables us to discuss your current lifestyle, fitness level and your goals and explain where and how I can assist you to reach them. Information obtained during this consultation will subsequently be used when designing your fitness program.
